We often hear about microplastics impacting on our oceans and marine life, but these tiny bits of plastic, less than 5mm across, have now contaminated every corner of the globe.
While we don't know the full story on how they might affect our health long-term, we know avoiding exposure to microplastics in the environment is almost impossible, including in our own homes.
