I’m a housekeeper and I know how to keep your clothes smelling fresh for longer – it’s super easy

THERE’S no better feeling than putting on a newly washed set of clothes.

When your clothing feels fresh, your body feels clean, and your mind feels clear.

A professional housekeeper named Vanesa Amaro has gained a following of over five million users on TikTok thanks to her diverse tips for keeping a happy home.

She recently shared advice on how to make your clothes and bed sheets smell crisp for longer—and it’s a really affordable method.

In the clip, she began: “Do you feel like after you fold your laundry and you put it away, it doesn’t smell as fresh when you put it on?

“I’m going to give you a tip.”

She pulled out a bottle of Gain fireworks scented beads, which costs less than $12 at Target, and mini organza drawstring bags that are $8 for 50 on Amazon.

The cleaning expert filled the bags with a handful of beads and then began stuffing them in between folded t-shirts, sweaters, and extra sheet sets.

She claimed this works better than using dryer sheets, as the smell lasts much longer.

As for other useful home hacks, Vanesa has got you covered.

She revealed a way to keep your shower squeaky clean—and all you need is a $12 product from Target.

Her advice was to get a soap dispensing dish brush storage set and fill it up with 2/3 of Dawn dish soap and 1/3 vinegar.

"Once you're done, you're going to put it inside your shower.

“And once a week, when you're putting that hair mask on, take your little brush and wash your shower while you're showering," she said.

"If you're going to follow any of my tips, please let it be this one."
