Blue River: September 10. Elevation is below normal and stable, water temperature 78°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on plastic baits, spinnerbaits, topwater lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, river channel, and rocks. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, dough bait, punch bait, stinkbait, and worms around channels, river channel, and rocks. Bluegill, green, and redear sunfish on crickets, in-line spinnerbaits, and small lures around brush structure, rocks, sandbar, shallows, and shorelines. Texoma: September 11. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 84°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass fair on live shad, sassy shad, slabs, and topwater lures below the dam, channels, flats, and points. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, goldfish, hot dogs, live shad, punch bait, stinkbait, and sunfish around channels, coves, docks, points, river channel, and river mouth. Crappie fair on grubs, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and nymphs around brush structure, coves, docks, points, and standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week was good.

Striper are feeding near the Roosevelt Bridge and the islands. They are feeding on live shad and topwater lures. Blue cats are biting on dough bait and cut bait in 12-34 ft. of water. Crappie are biting on minnows and hair jigs in 10-23 ft. of water.

Waurika: September 10. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 83°F and murky. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on sassy shad and shad around creek channels and dam. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait and dough bait around main lake and shorelines.

Crappie slow on minnows and tube jigs around brush structure, docks, and rocks. Report submitted by Matt Farris, game warden stationed in Jefferson County.
