A doorbell camera captured the moment 7-year-old Mariah Galloway began to cry for help after her great-grandmother got stuck under a rolling SUV in a driveway near Detroit, Michigan. Bullet Camera

"So she was picking me up from school and she thought the car was in park, but it was in reverse," Galloway told WXYZ. "And she got out and it started moving and she was trying to stop it because I was in it."

Mariah rushed to take the keys out of the car and then ran to get her mom's help.

"When I opened the door all I heard was Mariah screaming," said Mariah's mother, Porchia Lane.

Lane said it was a miracle that she was able to get her grandmother's foot unstuck from under the vehicle before she called an ambulance.

To celebrate Mariah's bravery, Lane surprised her with an early 8th birthday party. Mariah had originally planned to have a skating party for her birthday but delayed it to spend time with her great-grandmother in the hospital as she recovers.

"She was trying to save Mariah, and here Mariah saved her," Lane said.
